We’re the self proclaimed Bridal Best Friends, Vanessa and Megan.
We’ve been best girlfriends and business partners for nearly a decade. In that time we have owned SoleMates Shoe Boutique, which turned into SoulMates Bridal Boutique softly after Vanessa got married. We closed our boutique in early 2010 and started SoulMates Bridal Connection, the business you’ll come to know and love.
So pardon us for a moment, as we give ourselves a little pat on the back. We just have to point out we’re still BFF’s after three business ventures together! We think that’s a true accomplishment and a testament to our great friendship. But anyhow, how did our business develop into what it is today? Well, in early 2009 we coupled our desire to offer an informative and fun bridal show, for both brides and vendors, with our creativity and love of everything wedding. This desire was the whole idea behind SoulMates producing “It’s a Bride Thing” Bridal Soiree’s – a unique bridal showcase.
Our informative and interactive Ventura County bridal shows prove to be a big hit amongst our participating vendors and event attendees. In March of 2010, we also added wedding coordination to our resume. Our mission is simple, to provide couples with a friendly and affordable wedding coordinating service, where the end result is an unforgettable, flawless event. We believe hiring a wedding coordinator the ‘day of’ shouldn’t be just an option, yet a necessity.

WHO IS MEGAN (in the words of Vanessa): Beautiful, always the bridesmaid (think 27 Dresses), but soon to be bride, fashionable and always in the “know”! She enjoys her Starbucks “sugar free Cinnamon Dolce soy latte”, loved by anyone and everyone, super friendly, Leo, outgoing, family oriented. She absolutely loves working out and watches everything “reality”. Megan is the dreamer, incredibly creative…and of course LOVES everything wedding!
WHO IS VANESSA (in the words of Megan): Past bride, now a dedicated and incredible wife and Mom. She is passionate, family oriented, an only child, Scorpio, athletic, big eyes with a bright smile, very detail oriented, loves every Real Housewives of…wherever, and can’t live without spicy food. Vanessa shoots from the hip, is a perfectionist, the investigator, always wears her heart on her sleeve…and of course LOVES everything wedding!
